Personally I'd be very happy with a transparent voting system for all
things. The populations who get to vote on different things may vary,
but the principle will be the same and I would hope we could use one
tool.
As an example of different people having a vote for different things,
only members of INCITS will be able to "officially" vote on things
entering the standard. That does not stop us having votes involving
everyone on the same subjects, of course, but I think that part of the
ANSI process will require that there be a formal vote-to-approve step
involving members only (but I don't see why even that should not be
visible to all).
