I don't mind the Smalltalk discussion proceeding as long as they 
understand that the Meta decisions will impact their proposals. For 
example, the Association advocates can create a full proposal, but the 
Meta group might exclude it from the Core/Kernel. Which is to say, the 
decision of what is contentious might itself be contentious!
