      Hear, hear! Many is the time I've seen sensitive, damaging 
information go out in group replies that the responder thought was going 
only to the original sender.

      While I'm here, I'd like to put in a plea for keeping subscribers' 
email addresses as confidential as possible. I don't mind random people 
knowing the names of the subscribers, but there's no reason to tell them 
our email addresses too (thus guaranteeing more junk mail for each of 
us). Some mailing lists even go to the trouble of obfuscating sender 
email addresses in archived messages, which I think is a great idea.
