I also would like to declare that I am also in favour of Martin's
approach. I'm sorry that I did not make this clear on the poll.
I think it's important that we have flexibility and visibility as an
independent group to share information and ideas easily. I would also
love to see this work become concrete and become a standard in the hope
that vendors will follow and make life easier for everybody who is
involved with Smalltalk.
I think the two groups will work well collaborating with each other as
any ideas will be given a chance to settle before they are submitted to
any formalities.
My vote was for ANSI because I am keen to see such work contribute to
leading the Smalltalk communities towards a common goal.
