I have been tracking the discussion of the governance. I've also
checked the thread histories.

What is there (or, more importantly, not there) is of some concern.

Let me back track.

During the recently held social evening Bruce made the point that he
has been trying to get development work completed for OpenSkills.

Bruce explained that he receives a significant amount of personal
correspondence on which ever topic OpenSkills was discussing at any
one time.

So I have made a concerted effort not to correspond with Bruce
directly on this matter.

Taking this action has made me aware of maybe a significant problem.

Could people take a look at the thread logs of this list. Confine your
selves to what is there on governance and about this alteration to
OpenSkills from Ltd to Ptd Ltd.

My view is: "there is little of substance there".

We have just had a period where significant numbers have joined as
guests. We need these people to join so the systems can be paid for to
enable OpenSkills to grow.

Yet if you confine yourself to gleaning information from this list you
could (this is my view) gain the impression of a "closed shop". An
inner circle that corresponds privately, then makes announcements.

So would people mind going through the process of checking what has
public ally been discussed and give a view on this.

If I am correct. Such a perception would not be at all good.

Thank-you for your time.

Regards,

Ashley
